WHAT A TURN-OUT!!!

Some of the guests awaiting entry into the presentation

On a crisp, blue Cranbourne morning late in May, around 200 people turned up to what was an informative and highly productive morning tea at the Blue Hills Village.

Our Blue Hills MC, Lady Upperty Crust, in full swing

Jodie Johnson, Blue Hills' project manager and chief organiser of all things large and small, was delighted with the turnout. "We were expecting around 150 people, but we think we had 200 plus turn up...good thing we had lots of tea, coffee and cake."

The guests were invited to view the four completed and fully furnished villas which are available for purchase right now at Blue Hills. Situated a few kilometres East of Cranbourne City with sweeping views of the Dandenong ranges, Blue Hills is being built in a perfect location for people entering the third age of their lives.

Guests were seated in the newly renovated and refurbished "Farmhouse", as it is known to the people working on the project. Speakers including Jodie, the telecommunications expert, the real estate expert and the local historian were able to deliver concise and informative information quickly and effectively.

But the morning was not all business, tea and info. The seriousness of the occasion was tempered by the very auspicious master of ceremonies, Lady Upperty Crust. You really had to be there to appreciate the full hilarity of this very, very funny actress. As well as having the guests in stitches, Lady Upperty Crust did a wonderful job of MC'ing the entire presentation.

Jodie, with the use of large, clear drawings, went through all the features and benefits of retirement living lifestyle at Blue Hills. "A live presentation was the best way to convey a lot of information to a large group of people. We basically addressed all the questions that people have been asking us since we commenced the project."
