“I congratulate the Clarkson family of Cranbourne. Last week together with my colleague The Hon. David Davis, I had the pleasure of opening the Blue Hills Country Club in Cranbourne. This is a residence situated on 40 acres. 1.5 kilometres from the main street of Cranbourne. Currently, Blue Hills is home to approximately 250 residents; when the Village is complete, it will consist of 202 luxurious live-in units.

" The Country Club will have a whole range of facilities, including a hydro-therapy pool, cocktail bar, restaurant, library, cinema, pool room, doctor's surgery, hairdressing salon and much more. It is an excellent complex. It will also have outdoor facilities, including a tennis court, an additional swimming pool, trout ?lled lakes, BBQ areas, and a croquet pitch. A 120 bed nursing home facility is presently under construction.

A very proud Sharon Smith, Jodie Johnson and Ivan and Judy Clarkson.

" I congratulate the Clarkson family and especially Jodie Johnson on an excellent development. It is certainly a benchmark in residential areas and facilities. As Victorians, we can all look forward to this type of independent living. For older Victorians, it is certainly a new way of living. I urge the Planning Minister to facilitate the planning process for a number of these facilities as they are important for Victoria.”

The Management and Staff at Blue Hills thank the Ministers and all concerned for their time and commitment in the opening of our new, fabulous, Community Centre.
