NEW CHAPEL PLANNED

Chapel Plans

For the last 2 years blue hills management has been searching for an old historic chapel with little success, so we have decided to build our own. A beautiful weatherboard historical chapel has been designed with stunning leadlight windows, prayer room, kitchen and bell-tower. Bruce and Margaret Rayment residents at blue hills and are the leaders of the Church Services that have been in operation for over 2 years on Sunday afternoons in the craft house. Both Bruce and Margaret have given some valuable design input into the new chapel and look forward to holding a traditional style of service with the singing of many favourite hymns making it an enjoyable afternoon for all. A fellowship time is enjoyed over a cup of coffee or tea, prior to the service.

BLUE HILLS ANNUAL DINNER DANCE

Dinner DanceAbout 165 of our twinkle toed residents and guests attended the Blue Hills Residences 2nd anniversary dinner dance in the Country Club. Everyone that joined in the festivities had a fantastic time on the night with delicious food, excellent wines and the musical mastership of the New Melbourne Jazz Band. It was wonderful to see the dancing skills of our residents, many of whom have been dancing for 60 years and more. The suits and dresses flitted and billowed across the dance floor. Most of the revellers danced the night away, especially Ian White, who entertained the guests with some fab moves. Everyone that attended said they couldn’t wait for the next dinner dance... even suggesting it should become a regular event.

Well, you just never know.
